Marissa Hayes brings nearly 20 years of experience to her role as Senior General Manager at URG where she oversees operations for a diverse portfolio, totaling over 1.2 million square feet of office and retail space. Marissa provides leadership to the Portland property management team, helping create and maintain meaningful relationships with URG’s partners and encouraging creative solutions that satisfy both client and tenant. She is responsible for the portfolio’s financial performance, asset value preservation, and capital program oversight/execution. Marissa advises on operational items during due diligence and has guided the team through numerous onboarding and disposition exercises. Marissa has also played an integral role in the repositioning of historic assets, encouraging design elements that are sustainable and can be effectively maintained once the buildings are operational.

Prior to joining URG over a decade ago, Marissa worked for Equity Office Properties and Shorenstein Realty Services, where she was responsible for the daily operations and financial performance of 735,000 square feet of Class A office space in Portland’s suburban market. At both organizations, she played an integral role in ensuring maximum return to investors through effective budgeting and operating expense management.

Marissa is a licensed real estate broker and holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of Oregon.
