Ross Chapin has had an extensive career in the financial and asset management industries. His experience includes initially providing investment banking services to Fortune 500 companies and high technology providers followed by private equity partnership investing and executive level operating responsibilities at a number of asset management businesses. His present roles include acting as lead independent director at Joshua Green Corporation and board membership at Far Bank (a private fly fishing product supplier) and Urban Renaissance Group, a Seattle based full service commercial real estate investor and developer. He retired in 2015 from his full time executive role at Parametric Portfolio Associates, a multi billion dollar asset management firm based in Seattle.

Prior experiences include being a founding partner of two private equity firms, one of which focused exclusively on investing in asset management companies. He held the position of Chairman at Envestnet Asset Management, a NYSE member, of which he helped provide the initial funding, as well as CEO of a Philadelphia based asset manager. His career began in New York City as an investment banker prior to locating to Seattle to join in the founding of a regional investment banking firm. He is a graduate of Denison University and has an MBA from Columbia University.
