A Transformative Cultural Hub in
Portland’s Goose Hollow Neighborhood

In joint venture partnerships with Security Properties and Invesco Real Estate, URG acquired 1.5 blocks of land from Advance Publications, the parent company of the Oregonian newspaper, in early 2017. Development plans include the demolition of the two existing buildings and construction of a 3-building project with an active mix of residential and commercial uses.

Located in the Stadium District directly east of Providence Park, Press Blocks is a master development featuring a 140,000 square foot, 8-story office tower; a 30,000 square foot, 3-story office and retail building and a 25-story, 340-unit luxury apartment tower.

The office tower, known as Canvas at Press Blocks, delivered in 2020. The second and final phase of the project is underway as of October 2022.

The Canvas rooftop deck features sweeping 360 degree views of the city skyline, bridges and mountains - a unique perspective of Portland's west hills.
