A new vision for public space in Seattle’s tallest tower

In mid-2015, Gaw Capital Advisors USA purchased one of the most iconic buildings in the U.S., Columbia Center. The 1.5M square foot building is the tallest in downtown Seattle and among the tallest on the West Coast. As Gaw’s advisory partner, we assisted with the acquisition and helped to create and execute a new vision for the property.

Working alongside Gaw, we managed an ambitious renovation of the building’s public areas. Highlights include a complete overhaul of the first three floors of the retail atrium, new exterior amenities that accentuate the mountain and water views, and a full repositioning of the property’s Sky View Observatory, the tallest public viewing area in the Pacific Northwest. The building also features a new, 8,000 square foot best-in-class fitness facility. The facility is operated by performance training leader EXOS and features top-of-the-line amenities and technological enhancements.
